Dr. Player is the founder and past-president of a Chapter of the American Psychological Associations's Division of Psychoanalysis. He remains dedicated to advancing the training of mental health professionals who are engaged in the practice of deep and transforming, relationally based, psychodynamic psychotherapy.

He now provides face-to-face, phone, and SKYPE consultations in San Miguel de Allende.
